Michael Plisinski, Chief Executive Officer

Michael Plisinski is the Company’s chief executive officer and has over 25 years of semiconductor capital equipment experience. He previously served as the chief executive officer and member of the board of directors for Rudolph Technologies since 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Plisinski served as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Rudolph Technologies since October 2014 and was the vice president and general manager of the data analysis and review business since 2006 when Rudolph Technologies merged with August Technology Corporation. From 2004 to 2006, he was August Technology’s vice president of engineering and its director of strategic marketing for review and analysis products from 2003 to 2004. Mr. Plisinski joined August Technology as part of the acquisition of Counterpoint Solutions, a supplier of optical review and automated metrology equipment to the semiconductor industry, where he was both president and sole founder from 1999 to 2003. Mr. Plisinski has a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Massachusetts and completed the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.

Mark Slicer, Chief Financial Officer

Mark Slicer is the chief financial officer for Onto Innovation with nearly 29 years of extensive financial leadership experience with global public companies, spanning corporate finance, accounting and reporting, strategic planning, global supply chain and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Mr. Slicer joins Onto from Boston Scientific Corporation, a global medical technology manufacturer, where he spent 14 years in various senior financial roles, most recently as senior vice president and global operations controller. In this role, he was responsible for the financial performance of the global manufacturing and distribution network having a production value of approximately $3 billion, with a focus on global supply chain improvements and gross margin expansion. Prior to that, Mr. Slicer served as the corporate controller from 2014 to 2019, overseeing a team of over 500 finance employees across the globe managing approximately $10 billion in revenue. From 2010 to 2014, he held multiple divisional CFO roles, where he consistently drove double digit revenue and profit margin growth. Prior to his tenure at Boston Scientific, Mr. Slicer held various financial leadership roles at GE and GE Healthcare. Earlier in his career, Mr. Slicer served as a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their audit and assurance practice, where his experience included support for IBM’s global services and software divisions. Mr. Slicer is a licensed CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Providence College.

Ramil Yaldaei, Chief Operating Officer

Ramil Yaldaei is the chief operating officer of Onto Innovation. Mr. Yaldaei’s experience encompasses the entire value chain and brings with it well-earned expertise driving operational efficiencies while fostering successful supplier partnerships and building collaborative relationships. A 25-year veteran of the semiconductor industry possessing a strong technical background, he has led global engineering, manufacturing, service and supply chain organizations at multiple capital equipment companies. Before joining Onto, Mr. Yaldaei was vice president and head of global commodities and regional sourcing for worldwide operations and the supply chain group at Applied Materials and has held positions at Lam Research and Therma-Wave. Mr. Yaldaei earned a Master of Science degree in physics from San Jose State University, where he wrote his thesis on isotopic ratio measurement using ultra-high resolutions infra-red tunable diode laser spectroscopy to detect life on Mars. He holds a patent on the UV Curemeter and its related methods

Dr. Michel (Mike) Rosa, Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategy

Dr. Michel (Mike) Rosa is chief marketing officer (CMO) and senior vice president responsible for strategy at Onto Innovation. Prior to his current role, Mr. Rosa served as CMO for Applied Materials ICAPS and advanced packaging groups, where he was responsible for leadership of strategic and technical marketing, marketing communications, charting device segment inflection roadmaps and providing strategic business development support toward M&A activities. He has over 25 years’ experience in semiconductor engineering and technology, with roles that span device design and fabrication, equipment development, marketing and sales. His technical qualifications include B.Eng. (Hons) and Ph.D. degrees in microelectronic engineering and an MBA with dual majors in marketing and business strategy. Mr. Rosa has authored over 40 journal and conference publications and holds over 29 U.S. patents.

Srini Vedula, Senior Vice President, Customer Success

Srini Vedula is senior vice president of Onto Innovation’s customer success group, which includes field operations, product applications and the global sales organization. Mr. Vedula joined Nanometrics in 2014 as general manager for the metrology product line and later as vice president of global sales and business development until the time of the merger with Rudolph Technologies in 2019. Prior to 2014, he worked at KLA Corporation where he held several applications and product management positions in metrology and inspection. Mr. Vedula holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, India.

Yoon Ah Oh , Vice President and General Counsel

Yoon Ah Oh is vice president and general counsel for Onto Innovation Inc. Prior to joining Onto, Ms. Oh served as associate general counsel and corporate secretary of Analog Devices. She also worked at Endo International, where she held roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as assistant general counsel and corporate secretary. With an extensive background in an array of corporate legal affairs, including securities, financing and M&A, Ms. Oh has practiced law at top firms like Dechert LLP and Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP. Ms. Oh graduated from Yale University with a distinction in political science and has a law degree from Harvard Law School.

Barry Hartunian, Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources

As senior vice president global human resources, Barry Hartunian is responsible for all of Onto Innovation’s talent as well as HR initiatives across the globe. He joined the Company and the executive team in December 2019. Previously, he held the position of vice president, people & culture at Toast, Inc. where, as part of their leadership team, led the company to record breaking sales, headcount and industry growth. Mr. Hartunian has more than 25 years of business and human resources experience across several industries. Most notably, he has been an active human resource, culture and business leader in the technology sector with companies that have experienced significant global growth and success in their markets. His passion for global HR has developed from his experiences living and working abroad while pioneering and growing global operations for many successful companies including GenRad, Digimarc, Spotfire and ATG. He holds a bachelor's degree from Boston College as well as having completed graduate programs at Harvard University and Dartmouth College.
